Sarah Palin and Olivia Newton-John are among the celebrities I’ve hosted at fund-raising galas. In the summer of 2012, it was an honour to serve as master of ceremonies for the City of Burlington Canada Day opening ceremonies and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal presentations and Honorary Chair of the Walk for Lupus. I was the “Lioness” judge at the 2011 Hamilton Chamber of Commerce/Innovation Factory’s Lion’s Lair entrepreneur competition and co-hosted the 2012 Lion’s Lair. The Tulip Spring Classic celebrity ballroom dance competition in support of programs to bring Ballroom Dancing to inner city schools kept me on my toes as did the Halton Easter Seals’ Dancing with the Stars in the fall of 2012, which I won!
